Immediately following the First Lady's inaugural speech, reactions from several international media began to flow. Among these one can mention the Kuwaiti News Agency, the Saudi News Agency, UPI (Washington), Middle East Online (London), AKI (Italy). All of them highlighted the most prominent issues and topics that the AWO's Chairwoman addressed in her speech, namely further empowering Arab Women through education, training and technology, combating the three scourges represented by fear, violence and discrimination and consolidating women's participation in sustainable development.
